Title: Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer – Mobile and Web posted on 2014-07-02 22:00:09 Job Description: Our client has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, versatile Senior QA Engineer. You will be part of a team responsible for validating our client’s software products on mobile and web platforms through manual (black-box) and automation efforts. You will write detailed test plans, test/use cases, test scripts, and execute manual and automation test cases. You will maintain documentation of results and work closely with development teams to resolve problems and issues as needed. As part of the QE team, you will represent the customer perspective and drive product quality and testing efficiency. This position requires an individual who is a clear communicator, team-oriented, and a quick learner. Job Requirements: *Responsibilities:* - Gather and analyze testing requirements based on the business requirements - Develop, implement and execute test plan/test cases in an Agile SDLC environment - Develop and distribute test results and reports - Help in root cause analysis of defects/issues and facilitate product release/roll-out - Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve problems - Provide solutions and suggestions to product release process improvements - Disseminate technical guidance and knowledge to peer QE members - Work on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned *Requirements:* - BS degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or higher - Experience working with mobile technology software platforms and relevant SDKs: iOS (Apple), Android (Google), and Windows mobile. - Ability to analyze and diagnose software issues with mobile applications, iPhone and Android.
