Works with the Development team to understand the business and system requirements. Ensures system requirements are satisfied for internal and external application users. Ensures assigned project testing is complete and testing risks are identified prior to implementation. Manages the defects from identification to closure through the Software Development Life Cycle. *Primary Responsibilities:* - Works with the development team in a Test Driven Development Mode - Understands the Business requirements and defines the test Automation use cases - Reviews and may provide input during requirements and specification walkthroughs - Contributes to the development of test plans - Provides test estimates for release scope - Participates in test planning, test case design and test script walkthroughs - Escalates issues and risks as appropriate to ensure project stays on track - Records and tracks defects uncovered during the execution of tests scripts - Drives defect towards resolution; proposes and designs retest cases, scripts and data - Provides timely and accurate status, defect information and appropriate metrics to facilitate QA reporting - Builds and maintains test harness (Responsibility includes building automated test cases, test data creation, and configuration settings of Test Environment - Adheres to established standards and methodologies - Utilizes tools and methodologies to improve individual effectiveness and to increase efficiencies in the QA process Job Requirements: - BS/BA in Computer Science or related field required - Minimum 6 + years’ experience testing interface engines - Experience with TestNG, *Selenium* and IBM Rational Test Workbench including IBM Rational Integration Tester. - Experience with continuous integration and build tools (i.e. jUnit, DB Unit, Maven, Bamboo, and Jira) - Experience in Test automation tools like Rational Integration Tester - Desired knowledge of Business Systems and Order Management System - Exceptionally strong knowledge of testing concepts, verification and validation techniques, defect management, quantitative methods, risk management and measurement programs - Working knowledge of defect tracking, quality principles and testing tools - *Experience in Java, J2EE, IBM/Sterling OMS and Sonic MQ Message Manager* - Proficient on XML Spy, UNIX and SQL skills - Excellent communication (oral and written) and interface effectively with all levels of management as well as the technical team - Strong work ethic and general business acumen - Working experience with risk management, statistical analysis, quality assurance and quality control practices Experience with various test management and defect tracking tools (HP Quality Center, IBM Rational Integration Tester, Jira, Zephyr etc.) *Click here to view full job description and apply http://www.ejobsville.com/display-job/219906 (Registration not mandatory to apply for this job)* -- Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups SAP or Oracle Financials group.
