Can translate a technical conversation to a non-technical audience as well as engage in a non-technical conversation and translate into technical terms. *Qualifications* *Experience: * • 8-10 years of experience administering various multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases. *MUST HAVE 2+ YEARS OF LEAD EXPERIENCE* • Experience working with Oracle versions 10g, 11g and 12c in a UNIX environment a must. • Strong programming experience in PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting, PowerShell and Perl/Python. • Prior experience in software development is a strong plus • Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM, Oracle Data Guard and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is required. • Experience with Oracle 12c Goldengate in a RAC environment is a plus. • Experience with Backup and Recovery using Oracle RMAN and Veritas NetBackup. • Experience with Database security, access management and monitoring. • Experience fulfilling regulatory compliance auditing and evidence collection (Sarbanes Oxley). Education: • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: • DBA experience with MS SQL Server and Teradata is a strong plus. • Prior Retail Industry experience is a plus.
