experience - 5+ years of IT Project Management experience - 5+ years of
working hands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle • 2+
years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Coach • 1+
years of experience working on mixed methodology program (Scrum interfacing
with Waterfall from a dependency perspective) • 1+ years of experience

*Position Title:   Project Manager*

*Location: Hartford, CT*

*Duration: 4+ Months*



*SUMMARY:*

Project Manager to assist in the development of the planning elements that
will be needed for the implementation of two separate case management
systems within the OGA. This project manager will report directly to the
Executive Administrator.  The project is expected to run for 4 months or
longer.



*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

v  *Initiation*

· Provide Technical Leadership to the Office of Governmental
Accountability

· Develop Project Profile

· Draft and gain approval for Project Charter

· Develop User Requirements Documents (SAR) for the Project

· Develop Strategic Project Implementation Plan



v  *Implementation *

· Coordinate hardware/software installation

· Coordinate initial vendor software deployment and code movement
policies

· Coordinate project phases through project lifecycle

· Coordinate User Acceptance Testing

· Coordinate User Training to meet Go Live implementation

· Schedule Go Live date work with the project sponsor and vendor

· Coordinate Data Conversion

· Post implementation-Coordinate the resolution of any open defect
items requiring remediation.

· Coordinate deployment activities with all involved project
vendors.



v  *Deliverables Include: *

· Development of a communication plan and appropriate
communications vehicles to keep all stakeholders informed as to the status
of implementation.

· Project Monitoring and control procedures

· Weekly reports to document project progress/resolution of issues

· Written evaluation of existing information technology support and
level of technical support needed to support the projects

· Detailed application and technology process flows and procedures

· Process training curriculum and materials

· Other deliverables as may be requested



*EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:*

*Minimum of 5 years of Information Technology
Infrastructure Project Management experience, preferably with Governmental
entities

*Strong team building and issue resolution
skills

*Documented history of project delivery within time
constraints, according to project plan and within budget.

*Experience with meeting facilitation and documentation

*Experience with creating and presenting status reports
to stakeholders.

*Project Monitoring and control procedures

*Ability to prepare weekly reports to document project
progress/resolution of issues
