Inperson required...* Rate:$35/Hr on C2C Maxx Position: QA Tester Location : Washington DC and Reston, VA Duration : 6 Months *MUST HAVE:* ETL Testing PL/SQL SQL Testing Qualifications: -At least a Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of proven manual software testing experience in a functional QA team -Strong DB, SQL, file parsing/loading/transformation scripting skills are a must for this position. Any candidate lacking evidence of such skills will not be considered. -3+ years with SQL/PL-SQL and expertise in writing complex SQL Queries. -Proficient in file parsing and scripting techniques/languages/tools (any language or tools to achieve this). -Ability to Optimizing/Tune complex SQL queries or file processing scripts for better performance and efficiency due to large data sets and short testing windows. -Ability to properly define the Test Bed for several backend jobs building on sample data and proper analysis of existing prod data or specs analysis. -Ability to act fast and independently in a fast paced environment with multiple and tight deadlines. -Expertise in QA Testing in Unix/Windows Environment and Oracle/SQL server databases. -Expertise in extended validation of report functionality developed, using Cognos, Business Objects, by writing complex SQLs at the backend. -Extensive experience in ETL process consisting of data transformation, sourcing, mapping, conversion and loading. -Well versed with Manual and Automated Testing methodologies and principles.
