Location: Herndon VA Duration: 12+ months Client is currently running a SharePoint 2007 environment but will be upgrading to SharePoint 2010. These resources will be responsible for alignment of enterprise workflow management with the corresponding technology enablement of SharePoint, other workflow-based systems, and reporting and backup services including Oracle. These resources will participate as a team member in streamlining processes and providing input to process governance committee members on enablement options. Tasks may include but not be limited to the following: Work with end-users to gather requirements, suggest solutions, troubleshoot problems and support business needs. Provide a framework for reporting on statistics evident in managing workflow across operations footprint. Create, develop, deploy, and maintain software programs and applications related to the efficient conduct of workflow management for the enterprise throughout the entire lifecycle management process. Conduct software testing and quality assurance after code development. Conduct various types of analyses to ensure scalability, efficiency, and standardization of software supporting development of workflow application tools including: software and code requirements, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis, object oriented design and analysis (OOA/OOD), software modeling and simulation. Work with other cross-functional teams to develop and identify integration-points into other enterprise systems including Granite, SalesForce.com, BMS Remedy, CSG, ICOMS, and others. * * *Requirements:* At least 5 years experience with MS SharePoint platform and Oracle Platforms. Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technical areas: Systems S/W design, H/W integration, S/W development, Quality Assurance, System requirements and external integrations Functional knowledge of Fault and Performance Management systems (Netcool etc) Design, code, and debug applications in the following languages: Oracle PL/SQL, SharePoint API, PHP, Java, .NET, HTML, XML, XLST, SOAP, ASP, MS SQL, SQL Server, Visual Basic, PERL, C, C++, UNIX, Linux, Redhat Linux. Expert level of programming and front end graphical user interface design proficiency required using at a minimum: MS SharePoint Designer, MS SharePoint (MOSS), MS Virtual Studio. Understand, develop, and program workflow web-based applications based upon process definition requirements generated by ATG. Develop user and administrator-based reports indicating the status of process workflows and other application enhancements based upon requirements as defined by ATG Process Team. Prior experience in 24x7 operations support environment. Ensure performance tuning, improvement, documentation, usability, and automation of all developed code. Be able to plan development and manage personal workload in support of multiple integration projects at once. Maintain ATG OSS standards compliance including adherence to change and release management policies.1+ years experience developing reports. Experience with HTML, ASP, Java a plus Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle RDBMS, Unix, shell scripting. Preferred Qualifications: Strong technical leadership is preferred. ITIL Training Credits or ITIL Certification are desired.MS SharePoint and Oracle Certifications are preferred. Deep experience in all phases of the software development cycle. Prior work experience in a Service Provider environment (Cable Industry) a plus.
