What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be
detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily
basis)


• Serves as a liaison between development and quality teams to guarantee
smooth and timely delivery of software products or updates in support of
Enterprise and Pro CAC.
• Successfully manage multiple releases ranging in size and scope.
• Manages the release process end-to-end, from the planning of release
content through to actual release deployment to production.
• Act as a gatekeeper to ensure new initiatives meet the required
prerequisites before being incorporated into Release Plan.
• Create and maintain deployment plans, release documentation, checklists
and configuration documentation.
• Plans/schedules the deployment of software releases, engaging the
appropriate resources to secure their acknowledgement of accountability and
acceptance of required activities.
• Coordinate multiple project releases with overlapping timelines.
• Validate build and deployment packages.
• Prioritize tasks and ensure project deliverables are implemented within
time, budget and quality parameters.
• Facilitate collaboration and alignment between the Business, Application
Teams, QA Managers, and Program/Project Managers to manage overall release
plans.
• Provide release reporting (collecting, producing and publishing).


What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily
responsibilities?




* • Microsoft Office, CA Agile Central / Rally, Sharepoint, Confluence,
Planview, Anthill*


What skills/attributes are a must have?



*• 3+ years’ experience with formal software release management including
hands on experience verifying and deploying application and data base
builds.  • 3+ years’ experience with Agile development processes.*
• Demonstrated capability for attention to detail and follow up on open
issues to resolution.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively across the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze and manage risks associated
with releases to ensure successful delivery of software.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Flexibility to work off hours to support releases.

What skills/attributes are nice to have?


* • Knowledge and understanding of deploying releases for a SaaS solution.*
• Ability to work with remote teams.
• Experience with Anthill.
• Experience with source code branching strategies.
• Prior development and/or QA experience.


Where is the work to be performed? (Please list preferred UHG facility, if
other please specify i.e. remote work, rural, etc.)
