*Role: Sr. Sybase Developer*

*Location: Weehawken, NJ*

*Duration: 6+Months*



*Job Description:*



*Key skills required for the job are:*

1. Minimum 5+ years hand on development experience Sybase ASE version 15.0
or higher.

2. Sybase  T-SQL Programming (Mandatory).

3. Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting.

4. Strong knowledge in Performance Tuning.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



*As a Senior Developer*

· responsible for development, support, maintenance and
implementation of a complex project module in Sybase.

· should have good experience in application of standard software
development principles.

· should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of
applying judgment to plan and execute assigned tasks.

· should have in-depth knowledge of Sybase ASE 15.0 and Unix shell
scripting.

· should be able to respond to technical queries / requests from
team members and customers on time.

· should be able to prepare Technical design documents, review the
documents and also able to independently review the code and gather
requirements.

· should be able to debug the code and tune the performance of
stored procedures and SQL queries for performance improvement of the system.

· should be able to coach, guide and mentor junior members in the
team when required.
