Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team to install, update, maintain, monitor
and support the Enterprise Data Warehouse/Enterprise Business Intelligence
tools, applications and databases. The individual will work to meet stated
requirements, develop detailed specifications and unit test plans for
implementation. Since EDW works with multiple business units to create
cross functional solutions, the Informatica Developer must be able to
interface with various business units to understand the requirements and
prepare documentation to support development.

The individual must be capable of understanding the object design and the
underlying data model of the system. The individual must be comfortable
with developing data-centric applications using Teradata, Informatica, able
to develop ETL packages, and is expected to develop queries involving
complex database structures. The individual must have good communication
skills, work well in a team environment, enjoy solving problems and be able
to work in a fast paced environment.

*Responsibilities:*
•Develop Enterprise Data Warehousing solutions
•Install update, maintain, monitor and support Informatica
•Assess new initiatives to determine the work effort and estimate the
necessary time-to-completion.
•Create test plans and scenarios for development unit testing.
•Work with peers to carry out QA testing of new development.
•Document new development, procedures or test plans.

The scope of this project is to use the Informatica platform to
“preprocess” and ETL files sent into the Bank from large corporate
customers for enrollment and contribution dollar processing of employee
health savings accounts (HSAs).  The Informatica SME will support the HBS
development team with its integration of Informatica by providing detailed,
hands on mentorship of HBS development resources, design and implementation
best practices, and to take on ownership of the development of various
components related to the project.  This resource would be assigned to HBS
for the duration of the project’s execution from development through
delivery into Production.



Understand business and functional requirements for file translation
processor to be developed.

Develop mappings  workflows for file translation processor using
Informatica PowerCenter.

Integrate Informatica Powercenter code with other components of file
translation processor.

Support Dev/SIT/UAT/PFIX cycles.

Informatica Powercenter tools ( designer,workflow manager, workflow monitor)

Experience in File processing  validation using Informatica.

Powercenter transformations (look-up, xml, filter, router etc.)

Powercenter debugger.

Powercenter tasks, sessions, email tasks etc.

Flat files, xls, csv , database as powercenter source and targets.



Good database knowledge ( Oracle PL/SQL)

· Schedule the jobs. Create event triggers

· Provide support for Planned/emergency releases.

· Monitoring of Informatica server capacity and performance

· Apply patches/hot fix from Informatica support.

· Analysis of recurring issues and resolution

· Maintaining Knowledge repository related to support process.
