*Duration: 6+ months* They really want someone senior who can help with deploying IPS products, Macfee. *Senior IPS Engineer* *Position Description* Working within the Security Operations arm of the CISO organisation, the Senior Security Analyst (IPS) owns the health and maintenance of all IPS devices and is responsible for ensuring their availability and best practice life-cycle maintenance at all times. The Senior Security Analyst (IPS) is also responsible, where needed, to assist with new IPS deployments and the monitoring, triage and investigation of alerts and potential malicious activity. While contributing to a culture of Continuous Improvement, the role holder will deliver healthy, stable and available IPS to technology divisions and the business in a way that enables them to operate with confidence, knowing that a dedicated, professional team are ensuring they have the right tools and support to protect Pearson and the Learner. The role holder will also be responsible for documentation of processes and for tracking the quality of IPS services delivered and for working with the Security Operations reporting controls to provide updates based on KPIs, SLAs and customer feedback.
