Background information: Seeking a Unix Systems Engineer/Websphere System Administrator to support the Smart Analytics environment for the CCTI project Support (SOW0028), and Disaster Recovery (SOW005). The candidate should have strong experience with IBM’s AIX operating system, WebSphere Administration and MQSeries, Support for COGNOS applications, POWER Unix servers, as well as an understanding of Network Install Manager (NIM) and DB2. The project supports a Data Warehouse environment using IBM’s Smart Analytics System. The Smart Analytics is an appliance-like solution that consists of POWER servers running AIX, DS3500 storage, DB2 Warehouse, WebSphere, and Cognos. The environment also contains LDAP and Ab Initio.
