About the position:
We are in search for a Java Developer who possess the ability to work with
various team members to collaborate in achieving optimal application
architecture and design. The Java Developer will be responsible for
developing secure applications, peer-review code, and document solutions
within an Agile-blended software environment. The Java Developer with be
proactive with the Infrastructure, QA and Security teams to continuously
improve processes and engineering excellence. The Java Developer needs to be
an out of the box thinker as our client's environment changes quickly
Requirements:
* 7+ years' experience with the following skill sets.
* Java software development experience with web applications
* Experience with middleware rules engine - Drools
* RESTful Web Services
* JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, AJAX, CSS and other JavaScript
libraries
* Spring MVC and other Spring based web experience
* Core Java / Multithreaded programming
* Agile Methodologies and tools
* JUnit and mocking frameworks for Unit tests
* Maven, Jenkins, Subversion, CVS
* Ibatis, Hibernate
* JMS / Messaging systems
* Java Script, HTML5, jQuery, AJAX, CSS and other JavaScript
libraries
* Understanding of architecture and development methodologies of
n-tier systems
Preferred:
* Solaris, Unix and Linux
* SQL / Stored Procedures
* SQL databases: MySQL, DB2, etc
* Tomcat, Web Sphere, Apache, JBoss, etc
