*Rate: *60/hr on C2C. *Project Summary:* Our client is developing a new tablet based application within the Investment Bank based on the Live desktop platform. The application will feature various research and analytics content available on the desktop today. The application contains a number of search requirements which rely will partially rely on the search from the desktop platform as well as building out new search features not available on either desktop or mobile platform. In all cases the search features are and will be powered by the Endeca product. Initial launch is targeted for end of October this year. *Skill Set* Consultant must have expertise in the following areas of Endeca. · ITL Layer o Endeca pipeline and metadata configuration. o In depth knowledge of all the features and options of Dimensions, Properties, and Search Interfaces. o Implementing Record Adapters in the pipeline. o Expertise in Endeca internationalization features. · CAS o Expertise in setting up web crawls. o Expertise in document conversion settings and options for wide variety of document types. o Developing custom CAS extensions for new data sources. · MDEX o Expertise in run time performance tuning for search engine. o Expertise in specialized performance tuning of search engine for mobile applications that also support desktop. · Search o Designing efficient and specific search queries for numerous use cases, both for search and for type-ahead. o Developing front-end features that take advantage of data from search results. · General o Expertise in troubleshooting indexing failures. *Project Requirements* - Areas in which the consultant will work in: - Workshop to review architecture and reuse of desktop solution for mobile application - Implement changes to the ITL Layer for enhancing the data sources with mobile specific attributes - Data source integration and mapping for companies and tools - Search type ahead categorization - Provide research publication records as part of the type-ahead search - Search results page (categorized results - different from desktop) – filters, sorting - optimize this page/calls - Performance engineering for index for mobile and desktop - Architecture sizing and expansion (analysis and recommendations) - Add additional publication data to MDEX for publication specific searching - Decouple Employee and Client searches - Mapping new features on app for reuse on the desktop search - Context searching within features within the app (TBD) - Product Upgrades (Migration) - Consulting support/handoff to search developers in NY/Pune best way to reach me is through mail: *chris at tekwissen.com* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
