*Duration: 6 Months* **** *Job Description*: Develop structural designs for Oracle databases based upon logical data models Develop and design Oracle databases as well as create data models to guide off-shore development of physical models Performed physical database design like table structures, join indexes, primary indexes, secondary indexes, PPI, collect stats and data skew Determine user requirements as well as sets up and tests Oracle databases Worked closely with system users to make sure that the database information system strategies meets with the program requirements. *Required Skills*: Data Analysis: Extensive experience with database technology spanning relational, dimensional, and legacy technologies. Experience as a database designer, modeler, and/or analyst. This includes related experience with extraction transformation and load methods, data cleansing and validation, data integration, data flow modeling, and other Complementary skills. Software Development: Full SDLC experience and demonstrated experience on the delivery of enterprise level Oracle databases, in support of application development teams. Good knowledge of database analysis and design, UML, and software development methodologies. Client/server, Web applications, and scientific / mathematical applications. Systems, Languages & Tools: Experience with Visual Modeling Tools: For example : ERWin, DBDesigner; Artisan Real Time, Poseidon, and other UML modeling tools.
