Experience documenting different systems and processes

Must be available for an on-call rotation (minimal calls)

Must be able to work well in a team environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Description of Role/Responsibilities: *

We are looking for a mid-level AIX Systems Administrator to immediately
join a well-known company in Columbus, Ohio.  This person will be working
from a ticket queue to troubleshoot different issues as they arise.  The
most common issues include: patching, upgrading, installing and
configuring.  Ideal candidates will have been in an Oracle environment and
have some scripting experience.  The group is currently documenting and
transitioning certain items to the Operations team.  Another major focus
for the company as a whole is their PCI compliance processes.  If you work
well in a team environment and are looking for a fast-paced project, then
this is the position for you!!

This candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of a
Global Mirroring configuration for real time data replication between two
sites.  They will be responsible for designing, building, testing,
monitoring and documenting this configuration.
Must be comfortable working independently to complete assignments with

*Minimum Qualifications*

5 years experience supporting AIX
Experience working with Storage Area Networks, centralized storage devices,
and IBM SVCs.
