*Clinical SAS Programmer - Phase IV*

Main responsibilities:

• Work with statisticians to conduct and/or validate analyses
of clinical/non-clinical data for scientific meeting presentations,
publications and medical information flyers.

• Support processes for traceability and reproducibility of
publications in a dynamic and multi-task working environment.

• Provide analytical programming support for external academic
collaborators as needed

• Build and maintain integrated safety databases (‘data
warehouses’) for monitoring and safety queries

• Derive and maintain key analysis datasets and corresponding
data specification documents in the standard study environment



Occasionally, the analyst will also engage in:

• Analyses for internal Quarterly Safety Reviews (QSRs)

• Conduct additional analyses that may be needed for formulary
submission dossiers and other health economic outcome research tasks.

• It is anticipated that this newly created position will also
support the Executive Director in introducing and using software for safety
signal detection of internal clinical studies.



*Requirements*

• M.S. degree in statistics, MPH, or related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or
biotechnology industries with knowledge of statistical programming related
to clinical and non-clinical data in the industry

• Strong SAS programming skills in data step manipulation,
macro language and major statistical procedures

• In-depth knowledge in the following areas would be considered
a plus:

• Familiarity with publication process.

• Experience in accessing and analyzing large databases for
safety signal detection.

• Knowledge of analyzing high dimensional data (e.g. cluster
analysis, heat maps, factor analysis).

• Experience in data mining techniques

Position Summary This position is a senior Cisco network engineer,
and will support the data network infrastructure for NCDOT across 530+
locations. This support will include designing, documenting, deploying and
supporting LAN and WAN network equipment, with a focus on access,

senior network engineer with operational experience deploying and

High-level:

• We will turn-over the JMeter scripts for existing applications that are
already developed by another vendor. The resource should be able to pick
them up and run with it (similar to a new developer when he/she is given
access to the code base). The load test engineer should be completely
independent in terms of owning, modifying, installing, configuring the
scripts and the load tests with the underlying architecture.

• In future, design the load test architecture and the scripts for new
applications.

• The only dependency on HMH should be the knowledge of the application and
creation of test data.

• Effective and efficient communication.

Detail:

1) JMeter –

a. Install the appropriate version of JMeter associated with the JMeter
script

b. Install all necessary libraries, drivers, config files, etc. to setup
and run JMeter Script

c. Ability to run JMeter scripts

d. Engineer should also be able to maintain and make minor modifications to
global vars, URL’s, etc. to update script to reflect App changes.

2) Performance Tests –

a. Engineer should have a good understanding of the various parts of Web
Apps and the architecture

b. Engineer should be able to interpret PerfMon logs from Server Monitoring

c. Engineer should be able to report on findings from PerfMon logs

d. Knowledge of SQL Profile trace logs

3) Communication –

a. Engineer should be able to clearly explain results from performance runs

b. Engineer should also be able to offer recommendations based on results
from performance runs.

c. Engineer should be able to follow-up with team members via email, IM,
face-to-face, to make sure they are meeting requirements.

4) Following Instructions –

a. When the Engineer is instructed to install tools and apps required to
perform tasks, he/she should follow-through and perform tasks

b. When asked to provide detailed analysis of performance runs, they should
execute task(s) and follow-up with team.

5) Take Initiative –

a. Engineer should be able to acquire necessary tools to perform required
tasks.

b. Engineer should be able to follow up with the team to ensure they are in
sync with business/project requirements: i.e. When are performance runs
scheduled, what environment, etc.
