Project Description:
Project involves new support and enhancements to a custom J2EE application
built on jBoss and Oracle backend. Application is used by "Client" to
analyze and manage part retirement.
Responsibilities include
- Provide application support ensuring application availability, responding
to user queries.
- Development and implementation of small enhancements.
- Coordinates, guides and mentors offshore resources.
Required skills include
- Resource must have at least 5 years hands-on experience in Java/J2EE
technologies
- Resource must have at least 5 years hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL
development experience
- Resource must have at least 3 years experience in Hibernate and Spring
- Resource should have sound knowledge of web application development
security and performance standards.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools, automated build tools is
required.
- Should have good oral and written communication.

Contract Duration: 7 months
Location: South Brunswick, New Jersey
*Minimum Requirements:*
-7+ years of hands-on IT experience with Finance applications.
-4+ years of hand on experience with TM1.
-Strong functional knowledge and experience in IBM’s TM1 budgeting &
forecasting tool and PeopleSoft Financials 9.1 or above in General ledger.
-Experience with Cognos TM1 upgrade from Cognos 8.xx to IBM Cognos TM1 9.5
or higher (IBM Cognos TM1 Cloud 10.3)
-Strong hands-on experience with Turbo Integrator and must know programming
and Rules for TM1 Cube to Cube data flows.
-Requires hands-on experience with Cognos TM1 implementation and support
activities (Functional/Technical), developer experience with TM1 in design,
development, and architecture and system administration.
-Full development life cycle within TM1 framework, including gathering
business/technical requirements, design, development and implementation,
building reports and QA production tests.
-Must have exceptional SQL capabilities using SQL Developer or Toad
-Should have worked on model Design and proto-typing application
development, performance testing, user training and project support.
-Should be able to map the business requirements into the planning model
and design/implement TM1 model for newer initiatives.
-A blend of core proven accounting and finance knowledge and TM1 technical
skills is essential.
-Experience with Cognos TM1 supporting planning efforts within an
organization.
-Knowledge and understanding of TM1 tools (TM1 Architect, Web, Perspective,
CAFE,Performance modeler, etc)
-Capable of conducting analysis on reporting data sources, reverse
engineering of existing systems through guidance and direction.
-Ability to think and come up with ways to solve practical problems and
deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists.
-Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral
or whiteboard form, prioritize and communicate work status.
-Ability to drill down to low level information.
-Experience working on projects with multiple parallel work streams
-Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent
presentation skills
-Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google
applications/collaboration tools
-Detailed knowledge and experience of advanced Excel functionality for
data-analysis
-Domain expertise in one or more of Finance, Publishing, and Media is a
plus
*Description:*
Participate in migration of current TM1 v9.5.2 models to IBM cloud Saas TM1
v10.3.
Create test plans and test scripts and assist with unit and system
integration testing.
Create solution presentations & conduct demos and training sessions on
systems & business processes utilizing best practices
Liaise with the business to come up with detailed business requirements and
test plans
Create and maintain documentation for functional specs
Keep track of changes to scope
Conduct analysis on reporting data sources, reverse engineering of existing
systems through guidance and direction.
Identify process improvements during upgrade development and implementation
cycles
Create and maintain technical administrative documentation.
Coordinate with the project team for status updates
Drive towards on-time, quality deliverables in a dynamic business
environment while actively managing stakeholder expectations
*Informatica ETL Administrator*
*Detroit, MI*
*12 months contract + EXT*
*Responsibilities:*
· Installation, Upgrade, Setup, Maintenance, Troubleshooting of
Informatica Software
· Maintain; Support Informatica products like PowerCenter, PowerExchange,
IDQ, IMM, MDM, Proactive Monitoring, Big Data Edition and Cloud Integration.
· Migrate code in development, test; production environments
· Development (proof of concept), maintenance; troubleshooting of complex
Informatica code
· Provide/review data integration solution (Quality Review for ETL design
and ETL code) for application development/production teams
· Informatica administrator will work with other teams to provide required
support to ETL application development/production teams
*Required Skills/Experience:*
· 5-7 years of Data Warehouse ETL (Extract Transformation Load) Experience
in AIX UNIX and Oracle platform
· 4-5 years of administration experience using Informatica 9.x Integration
Products - PowerCenter (PWC), Metadata Manager (IMM), Data Quality(IDQ),
Data Explorer (IDE), Big Data Edition, and Cloud Integration
· 3-4 years development experience using Informatica Integration Products
like Informatica PowerCenter (PWC) and PowerExchange (PWX), Data Quality
(IDQ) and Metadata Manager (IMM)
· Informatica versions 9.6.1 and 10
*Required Skills/Experience:*
· Good understanding of data modeling (logical and physical) concepts
· Good Experience/Knowledge/Understanding of DW/DI/ETL best practices
· Exceptional SQL capabilities using SQL Developer and Toad (App Software)
· Ability to perform analysis that is diverse and complex
· Ability to provide subject matter expertise on Informatica development
· Willingness to support after hours as business needs dictate
· Strong desire and willingness to support new and/or additional
technologies as business needs dictate
· Strong communication and documentation skills using PowerPoint, Excel
and Visio
· Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with short
deadlines
· Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication
skills
