candidate may have started out as a highly technical data architect, data

as an enterprise data warehouse or a complex operational data store

· Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to meeting
daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.

· Strong facilitation skills to engage subject matter experts to
define data use and presentation requirements and conduct data modeling
design reviews with project teams. Experience in collecting and validating
business requirements

· Experience working on implementations of Insurance applications
and integrating them with other insurance and finance applications would be
a significant bonus

· Ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary, international,
dynamic team environment

· Strong knowledge of Insurance and Reinsurance business data and
related statutory (US and European GAAP and Stat) reporting is a plus

*Responsibilities*

· Manage all projects/programs related to the use of enterprise data
– EDW, Data Hub, ERP implementations, Application Integrations, Analytics,
Reporting and Business Intelligence related initiatives

· Participation in the PMO processes to assess and manage
new/changes to the enterprise data architecture and new applications feeding
data to the EDW from IT development projects and the downstream impact
thereof

· Responsibility for ensuring data feeds and reconciliations are
being completed in a timely and accurate basis by IT and business staff

· Working with the Data Architecture team from a business
perspective, including establishing prioritization for projects, development
of project plans, sequencing of various projects within a program and
providing guidance to the technical team on deliverables

· Working with key business personnel including communication of
project statuses, setting of priorities, establishing guidelines around data
quality, setting up procedures for handling data changes and making sure the
data infrastructure is operating to meet the business needs

· Working with IT upper management to prioritize projects and
programs

· Working with business executives to prioritize projects and
programs to meet the needs of the business

· Communicate status, issues, risks and progress of all data related
projects to both the business and IT with the appropriate amount of detail

· Work with the business to help them understand what is needed so
IT can successfully meet their requirements

· Assists the SVP of the PMO with the development/production of
global management reports as required

· Additional Bonus Skills

· Conceptual understanding of transaction and information systems,
data warehouses, dimensional modeling, data marts, ODS, MDM methodologies
and life cycle as well as ETL.

· Understanding of Metadata, Cross Referencing Data Quality, and
Data retention concepts.

· Working knowledge of the principles, procedures, and tools of data
management such as data dictionaries, data warehousing, data mining,
defining metadata management approaches, defining governance processes and
data standardization processes

· Knowledge of Data modeling frameworks (IBM IAA, ACORD, etc.)
