Skill required



· Undergraduate degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience

· 4+ years of experience in Continuous Integration application
software

· 4+ build discipline

· 3+ years of experience in Java and .Net based application builds
years

· 3+ of experience working in an enterprise continuous integration

· 3+ environment

· Experience leading and/or mentoring application teams in
Continuous Integration or Continuous Deployment and Agile
source/build/deploy best practices including Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience utilizing Docker and creating Docker Images Experience utilizing
deployment tools such as XebiaLabs, Nolio/CA or Electric Cloud

Preferred Qualifications:



· 3+ years of experience using Build Servers such as AntHill Pro or

· 3+ similar CI server such as Jenkins, Team City

· 2+ years of experience with unit testing tools such as JUnit,
NUnit,

· 2+ XUnit, or similar years of experience with code coverage tools
such

· 2+ as Cobertura, Jacoco, or similar

· 3+ years of experience scripting and automating application
builds using

· 3+ various languages and tools such as Maven, MS Build, Ant, or
similar

· 3+ years of experience building applications in various IDEs such
as

· 3+ Eclipse, RAD, IntelliJ, Ruby Mine, or similar years of
experience

· 3+ administering and using repository managers such as
Artifactory,

· 3+ Archiva, Nexus, or similar

· Experience in the major *nix type environments (AIX, Linux,
Solaris) and Windows environments Knowledge of *nix shells and tools such
as BASH, vi, less, find, grep

· 1+ years working with automated deployments in a complex
enterprise

· 1+ environment



Key Skills: Devops, Jenkins, CI/CD, Docker, Puppet, Chef, Agile and
scripting language (Shell)

Dockers is Very much important most important , they should be from system
admin background or Network admin back ground

*Job Description:*

A suitable candidate would be DevOps Engineer with System Admin/Network
administration skills. Must have very good programming/scripting knowledge
and be extremely customer focused. Ability to multi-task, utilize both
written and verbal communication skills to assist customers in resolving
technical problems is paramont.

*Essential Responsibilities*
•Visiting customer site and Deploy container images (micro services) –
Installing and configuring to work in the target environment.
•Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to
our customer’s need.
•Work directly with Predix team to help reproduce and resolve customer
issues.
•Implement CI/CD pipelines – CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, Codecommit.
•Write tutorials, how-to videos and other technical articles for the
customer community.
•Be responsible for providing technical leadership and defining,
developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development
environment us
ing the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
•Job involves day to day managing PCF logs, spaces, services and debugging
aligned with 12-factor principles and micro services architecture style.
•Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/Scrum, CI,
Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices,
refactoring
and Testing Techniques
•Work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple
Pivotal Cloud Foundry services.
•Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using
the technology selected for the project
•Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
•Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with
the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
•Frequent travel to client sites (Montreal (Canada) and San Ramon
(California))


*Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualification*
•Strong experience in pivotal cloud foundry application development and
platform level experience
•Expert in pivotal CLI interface, creating or modifying manifest files,
bootstrap files.
•2+ years of experience with Containers (Docker)
•Experience in configuration Management Tools: Chef, Puppet or similar
•Linux OS, Middleware and networking systems experience
•Shell Scripting is a plus
•Experience with modern tooling (Eclipse / IntelliJ, Maven, NPM, Grunt,
Git, Chef, Cloud Foundry, etc.)
•3+ years of experience developing and deploying micro services on both
cloud and on-premises environments.

*Desired Characteristics: Technical Expertise:*
•Have expert knowledge on infrastructure operating standards.
•Support and consult with development teams using Cloud platforms; manage
the integration of services into Cloud Foundry or smilar PaaS.
•A passion for DevOps and an appreciation for Continuous
Integration/Deployment
•Experience developing backend applications (Spring, RESTful Web services)
•Excitement about open source software
•Experience with service-oriented (SOA) and event-driven architectures.
