*Position: EDI Architect*
*Location: Atlanta GA*
*Subcon  : 6 months*
*Client: Capgemini*
*Rate: $55-60/hr- *

*General*
- Study current architecture, interfaces and landscape and document them.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with business, multiple
application stakeholders, offshore team and Trading partners across
geographic locations.
- Provide optimal solutions & fix issues in short turnaround time.
- Be able to own/lead a task and work on it independently. Track & Monitor
project activities and lead them up to closure.
- Manage tickets and follow defined support process.
- Generate weekly status report and present.
- Documentation
- Work closely with customers, SAP team and business.


*Support*
- Provide production support for day to day EDI transactions and monitoring
end to end work flow.
- Provide resolutions for EDI Inbound and Outbound transaction issues and
failures.
- Perform analysis on communication between SAP and SI & also between SI
and customer.
- New Trading Partner onboarding and communications.
- Monitor SAP workflow and address the issue.
- Provide resolutions for internal SAP issues related to TP onboarding and
setup for IDOC generation.
- Work closely with CSRs to understand the issue and address the same.
- Monitor SI server health and generate health/performance statistics.
- Document all support issues and their resolutions.

*Design & Development*
SAP - Good to have
- Create EDPAR table in SAP.
- Setup Trading Partner profiles.
- Navigate Purchase Order, Invoice, Shipment, EDI transactions related
modules in SAP and perform search on IDOCs.
SI – Must have
- Gather requirements from business, SMEs and Trading Partners and be able
to lay out a design for the flow.
- Generate Mapping specification from EDI guidelines (mostly customer
specifications) and business requirements.
- Craft low level design document for any new SI implementations.
- Perform GAP analysis on Mapping Requirement Specification and presume
mapping instructions.
- Create translational maps, specifically IDOC to EDI format & vice versa
and any to any format.
- Capable of parsing EDI ANSI X12 standards (e.g. 850, 855, 856, 810, 860,
204, 214, 997 etc.) and IDOCs standard documents.
- Create/Modify Business Process independently.
- Understand and create EDI Envelopes and codelists.
- Track logs, Business Process instances and troubleshoot Business Process
Failures.
- Configure Adapters and services, setup B2B/EDI/Application
internal/external communication protocols such as SAP, AS2, SFTP, FTPS,
HTTPS, FSA, CLA2.
- Work independently on SI Technical and EDI functional areas.
UNIX-Must have
- Interpret and create Unix scripts for process automation and utilities.
- Perform basic Unix commands for FTP, navigate, browse through directories
and execute scripts.
Testing
- Prepare test case documents and capture results.
- Perform unit testing, system, performance and end to end integration
testing.
- Coordinate and support various testing with interfacing application
stakeholders and trading partners.
