*Job Description:*

- 8 to 10 years of IT industry experience.
- Must have development experience using Oracle 11g.
- Candidate should have good expertise in writing complex SQL query and
ability to tune SQL queries to improve performance.
- 4 plus years development experience in writing SQL queries is mandatory.
- Candidates must have good knowledge & experience in data modeling.
- Experience in dimensional modeling ( for data warehouse / data mart) is
necessary.
- Knowledge of Java ( code Java) is desirable.
- Knowledge of Banking domain, investment banking will be advantage but not
mandatory.
- Good understanding of agile development approach is desirable.
- Good communication.

Physical Data Modeler is responsible for the design and instantiation of
the physical data model, based on the logical data model. This includes
creating the base tables, associative tables, and views, and choosing and
creating all indexes. The Physical Data Modeler uses input from the
Business Information Modeler, the Capacity Planner, the Database
Administrator, and the ETL Consultants. This individual must have the
skills to understand the logical data model as well as the business
requirements. The Physical Data Modeler may be the Lead Consultant on a
project.

 Must have senior level skills; at least 15 years I/T experience and 8+
years in data warehousing.
1. Strong Knowledge on BDW Data warehouse Concepts and/or Teradata physical
and logical model understanding , Experience with Building Large/Complex
Data warehouses
2. Should have at least designed a large Data warehouse End to End,
Experience with Dimensional Modeling/Data Modeling techniques-
3. Experience on Data Quality  Data Profiling is required
4. Experience in doing Physical Modelling is a must (preferably in Teradata)
