This migration will require the new application to leverage Oracle based data to drive web service calls to an in-house application in order to move the data to a new application solution. This person will help to analyze the application database to produce scripts for exporting documents housed and maintained within an internal home-grown application that will need to be re-ingested by another, 3rd party, vendor solution. Active use of Microsoft .NET framework 4.0 will be needed to integrate with vendor supplied API to access data from one system and “pump” it into another. *Technical Skills Required:* ● Experienced in development of Oracle PL/SQL objects like Stored Procedures (using Collections, XML types, Ref cursors), user defined Functions, Cursors, Tables, and Triggers, Indexes, Views to facilitate efficient data discovery and manipulation. ● Experienced in migrating large data Objects (documents) using Microsoft .NET framework 4.0 (c#) and vendor supplied API objects and services. ● Experienced in developing and testing .NET applications running as a windows service. ● Knows how to read and parse XML based Oracle data types using PL/SQL and Microsoft .NET framework. ● Experience with SOAP API integration using Microsoft .NET 4.0 *Major Responsibilities: * · Viewed as an expert in applications development. · Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. · Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous application development issues. · Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. · Creates complex prototypes. · Codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements complex software applications. · Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for team. · Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff. · Monitors project schedules and costs.
