• Local contract position as On-site Project Manager
• Responsible for project management of supplier deliverables for production, quality, engineering, and supply chain. Will require documenting and tracking deliverables, action items, and risks, and developing mitigation plans for high risk items.
• Interface with supplier project management team to ensure priorities are consistent
• Report issues and status to Leadership
• Provide information, coordination, and drive for appropriate action to Supplier Leadership to implement process changes to prevent recurring issues
• Responsible for validating forecasts provided by supplier and/or developing and communicating realistic forecasts to Leadership and project teams weekly
• Responsible for working within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and contributing to the overall success of on-site efforts
• Provide periodic weekend coverage when needed

Qualifications
• Must have minimum 2 years of Project Management experience
• Must have minimum of 2 years of experience using Microsoft Project and be able to review and validate supplier schedules against demand
• Must be able to track and report variances in plan to Leadership, as well as work locally to maintain the planned schedule across multiple value streams
• Three plus years of experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Visio highly desired
• Experience in a manufacturing/assembly line environment, with the ability to work at all levels of management highly preferred
• Experience mapping and understanding the production process is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Theory of Constraints preferred. Previous experience increasing manufacturing throughput highly valued
• Must have an understanding of the product design-to-production process, inclusive of the product, reliability, and production improvement processes, preferably for both mechanical and electrical items
• Aviation industry experience is desired and an understanding of Boeing's NOC (Notice of Change) and NOE (Notice of Escapement) process a plus
• PMP Certification a plus

• Responsible for coordination among the On-site Team, holding daily on-site stand up meeting to review status and issues with supplier and on-site staff
• Report issues and status to Leadership. Must be able to drive to root cause of arising issues and work with Supplier Leadership to implement process changes to prevent recurring issues
• Responsible for validating forecasts provided by supplier and/or developing and communicating realistic forecasts to Leadership and project teams weekly
• Must be able to review Supplier's parts shortages list on a daily basis and work with Supplier leadership to drive on-time parts availability to 100%
• Responsible for final pre-shipment inspection and documented capture of all discrepancies with dispositions to allow future supplier reworkQualifications
• Must have 3 year plus experience in an assembly line environment, with the ability to work at all levels of management
• Requires 3 years plus experience mapping and understanding the production process. Knowledge of Theory of Constraints preferred. Previous experience increasing manufacturing throughput
