-We are looking for a superlative engineer/developer with a passion for APIs (Web Services), Frameworks, and Best Practices to join the Asset Management Architecture and Frameworks team.
-MUST have significant experience with Advanced programming, C#, Design Patterns, and Real-time/Service Integration.
-Technology focus will be on C#, HTTP, HTML and _javascript_.
-You will lead the development of a world-class services framework designed with the REST principals in mind.
-You will be expected work closely with the architecture team, multiple delivery teams, and technology leaders. You accept the challenge of being evangelist and change leader.
-You will partner with teams to improve solution/services quality, stability, and performance.
-You will develop and be consulted on best practices involving multiple programming languages and frameworks, focusing on C#, HTTP, HTML and _javascript_.
-You must be a true polyglot, understand best practices and principals inherent in all programming regardless of language.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; or equivalent work experience.
- 4-10 years of relevant experience coding in and designing for numerous programming languages including Java, C#, and _javascript_.
- 3+ years of practical experience and proven success with the design and build of complex web applications. - A deep knowledge of the principals of service design, SOA, and web service technologies.
- A demonstrated knowledge of the REST principals, HTTP, JSON, XML, web servers, applications containers, and databases.
- Able to communicate, evaluate, and discuss, best practices, patterns, developer tools, technologies, and code quality.
- Track record of driving transformative/critical development initiatives
- Demonstrated experience working with global teams of both employees and contractor resources.
