Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration : Long Term Contract

Details of Position:

· Supports  Application Development Lifecycle Methodology of
large scale applications to ensure performance and compliance.

· Reviews project deliverables.

· Provides guidance to development team to ensure quality.

· Identifies areas for improvements.

· Reviews and reports work progress to ensure timeliness,
reviews work of others, monitors emerging technology trends and
influences adoption.

· Troubleshoots and debugs complex systems micro/macro. Develops.

· Linux, web logic, JAVA/J2EE and MS SQL databases.


Management Skills:

· Senior level experience developing and supporting mission
critical revenue generating applications with low tolerance of
downtime.

· Identifies and resolves risks and issues.

· Works with Business Analysts, Architects and Infrastructure
groups to development and maintain Java/J2EE user interfaces
(HTML/JavaScript/JSP/AJAX), java/J2EE components leveraging various
interface technologies and MS SQL applications. 5-8+ years' experience
in java/J2EE and MS SQL database design, development, performance
tuning, implementation and support of large-scale database
environments.

· Develops stored procedures.

· Must be able to write SQL queries.

· Problem solving and ensuring standards and best practices.

· Strong understanding of SQL Server internals.

· Create and modify tables, stored procedures, views and
triggers. Comfortable with multi-tasking, resolving competing
priorities and meeting project deadlines.

· Understanding of, and experience with, server-client
computing and relational database environments.

*Explanation for Position:*

Lead software developer to analyze the existing Java and PERL based Web
Content Management System and prototype solutions to eliminate
customizations and migrate to a modern standard version of the CMS (HP Team
Site).



*Details of Position:*

· Works with project team to develop  design application programs
 systems to implement interactive  dynamically generated components of
the organization's website. Creates system architecture designs.

· Analyzes technical requirements, creates system designs 
specifications.

· Programs  debugs complex programs.

· Proficient in Java.

· Must demonstrate a full understanding of internet
programming concepts
such as CGI and Servlets.

· Proficient with Internet languages such as HTML, XML, 
JavaScript.

· Knowledge of systems architecture.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to effectively analyze technical options.



*Management Skills:*

· Provides supervision to Web Developers.

· Takes direction from the Project Leader.

· Requires minimal degree of supervision for project task work,
seeks out direction from supervisor to keep assignments focused on
objectives, recognizes and evaluates issues on assignments.

· A bachelor degree in Computer Science/related discipline is
required.

· Requires a minimum of 8 years web development experience utilizing
Java/J2EE. Occasional weekend work required.

· *Must be available to work July 4, the end of December and over
the New Year's holiday as needed.*
