· Technical Background (1) – Good knowledge of Linux OS Flavors and
hands on experience in application troubleshooting.
· Technical Background (2) – Demonstrated foundational knowledge of
TCP/IP network and security
· Excellent organization and analytical skills – must be able to
match similar requests/requirements from differing sources even if not
within technical specialization
· Strong technical writing skills – should be able to provide
responses to questions and explain technical situations for non-formal
documentation that are readable to non-expert. Should be able to work
with people with technical SMEs and ‘translate’ their comments into
business readable format
· Should be able to spot areas of operational risk, identify new
alarming needs, potential tooling problems, and build supportable and
scalable operational processes.
· Should be able to develop scalable processes in order to improve
operational efficiency.
