Only GC-EAD/GC & USC Location: Foster City or San Francisco, California Job Title: QA Engineer Duration: 06 Months Contract Job Description: . 5+ years of experience in development and/or QA automation . 3+ years of strong technical competency and experience with web applications and web services . Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Quality Assurance processes and methodologies . Must have strong Browser Testing Experience . Strong knowledge of Device and breakpoint testing for responsive . Need to have ability to translate design specs to browser behavior . Need to understand browser caching . Experience in Usability Testing . Experience in Accessibility Testing . Must have experience with automation tools like Junit, TestNG, Rake, Rspec, Cucumber, Selenium RC/WebDriver . Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, distributed systems, web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Python) . Experience with using Firebug or Fiddler for testing . Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data . Knowledge of iOS/Android development, Javascript, HTML5 . Experience with mobile devices such as Mobile Complete's Device Anywhere, Perfecto Mobile, or Android's Robotium . Experience utilizing Xcode, iPhone SDK, or Android SDK/E . Experience in testing end-user interfaces on various platforms such Windows 7, MAC OS for different browser types . Experience with Tools like Rally, Jira, Sharepoint, Wiki etc . Solid understanding of relational databases RDBMS and scripting of a complex SQL queries . Strong problem solving skills . Excellent verbal , written and listening communication skills with an ability to influence and develop relationships with key partners . Experience in working in a cross functional organization with multiple stakeholders . Proven ability to work in a team environment . BS in computer science, computer engineering or relevant technical discipline required Required Skills: .
