*Developer for Reporting/ Analytics in India (off-shore position ( PentahoData Integration (PDI) a must))*
Here is a job description for a (consulting) position that I need – *approximately 20 hours/week.* The developer should be committed to the project and available to work on tasks and deliver on time with high quality service. Job Description: - Experience in developing medium to complex* ETL jobs using industry standard ETL tools.* Hands on experience on *PentahoData Integration (PDI)* a must. Should have worked with multiple input data sources and designing complicated in the past. - Expert in debugging issues in existing job designs. Proficient in automating the jobs designed. - Experience writing SQL codes. Knowledge on performance tuning of*SQL* queries would be preferred. The candidate should be proficient in querying data on databases like *mySQL,* SQL Server. - Should be able to dig into every aspect of a job design and redesign any*ETL job* individually, if need be. - Should have worked on Linux and Windows Operating systems. Should be proficient with basic Linux skills. - Ability to analyze and question/challenge the existing design and should be able to bring in all his expertise in proposing/architecting the best design. - Required to have good coordination and communication skill to work with a global team. Should be good in pushing his design with conviction. - Perform DBA function - backups, etc. - Good Business Analysis skills *Project Description:* We are managing and delivering a reports and data for a company that does fund-raising for humaterian causes.
