*8+ Years of SQL DBA. *

*• Ensure all database servers are backed up in a way that meets the
   business’s Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) *
   -
*• Test backups to ensure we can meet the business’ Recovery Time
   Objectives (RTO) *
   -
*•Troubleshoot SQL Server service outages as they occur, including
   after-hours and weekends *
   -
*•Configure SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms *
   -
*• As new systems are brought in-house, choose whether to use clustering,
   log shipping, mirroring, Windows Azure, or other technologies *
   -
*•Install and configure new SQL Servers *
   -
*•Deploy database change scripts provided by third party vendors *
   -
*•When performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to
   increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration
   changes, or index/query changes *
   -
*•Document the company’s database environment *
   -
*•Oracle Database Backup and restore Schema, Table and Database. *

The Client is now looking for an SQL DBA with knowledge of Oracle DBA
activities and GG.

*Job Description:*

   - 7+ years’ experience - in MS SQL Server 2008/2012 administration
   - Experience in Oracle Database administration, support, upgrade and
   migration
   - Expertise in Installation, configuration and administration of Oracle
   10g, 11g,12c RAC database and standby database on various environments
   - Experience in Database performance tuning and optimization, Database
   cloning, recovering lost objects etc.
   - Experience in RMAN backup and recovery implementation and support
   - Experience in Data Guard implementation and support
   - Experience in taking backups, deploying code and other maintenance and
   production support activities
   - Knowledge of implementation, configuration, conflict handling and
   troubleshooting of Golden Gate in High-availability environment

Must Have:
5+ years experience  as SQL DBA version 2005/2008
Expert in SQL Tuning
Experience in Monitoring and Maintenance
Ability to work with SQL developers top automate SQL code
Clustering and Replication Experience
Experience in a Transactional environment
Oracle Database Experience
Ability to work on a team that communicates well and is very direct and
blunt
Great Communication
Open to working with Oracle Databases if trained
No Contract jumpers

D2D:
The SQL DBA will be responsible for administering SQL databases and working
with SQL Developers.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to mass
scanning indexes belonging to SQL Developers and previous employees for
errors and corrections.  They will be responsible for the configuration,
support, maintenance and monitoring of the SQL database.  They will also
work with SQL developers to automate code.
