Job Summary:



Architect, design, develop and maintain a high performance application with
near real-time distributed in-memory Data Grid using Java, Spring, Oracle,
Weblogic, and NoSQL technologies. Create user stories and develop software
components using test-driven development, working closely with business
stakeholders, QA engineers and other development teams. The candidate must
demonstrate   progressive leadership in the full life cycle software
development



Major Duties:



·         Design and develop enterprise service shared components and
in-memory data grid components using the Agile/Scrum methodology and with
technologies including Java, Coherence, NoSQL, SQL, and JMS

·         Automate deployments for in-memory data grid

·         Set up appropriate monitoring and alerting tools for implemented
solutions

·         Practice test-driven development in an Agile/Scrum environment

·         Research and develop prototypes as assigned

·         Be responsible for end-to-end software development in a DevOps
model

·         Provide support and mentoring to both senior- and junior-level
developers distributed amongst the development teams

·         Perform other duties as assigned



Minimum Qualifications:



Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field



Skills and Experience:



·         9+ years of experience in Software Development using Java and
Java EE, with 2+ yrs. experience as a Lead is required

·         2+ years of Maven experience is required

·         2+ years of Jenkins or similar experience is required

·         2+ years of Spring experience is required

·         2+ years of JPA or Hibernate experience is required

·         Full life-cycle development in an enterprise development
environment is required

·         In-memory computing/data grid experience with Coherence *or*
 Gemfire *or* Hazelcast *or* Infinispan *or* similar is preferred

·         NoSQL development experience with Couchbase *or* CouchDB *or*
 MongoDB *or* similar is preferred

·         Development against Oracle databases and products

·         Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology a plus

·         Experience in a Cable, Telecom, or a Media company a plus

·         Should have excellent communication, negotiation, decision
making, and problem solving skills

·         Must be a team player

·         Must have “can do” /”will do” attitude
