Everest is currently looking for *-Windows Application Operations Engineer *with one of our direct client in CA *Please do not submit the resume if the candidate is not on your H1 or you can't provide the H1B copy.* Location: El Segundo,CA ( Los Angeles) Duration: 6 + months Rate: Open We are looking for smart and energetic engineers with diverse backgrounds to join our Application Operations Team. Engineers with Application Support / Systems / DBA / Development / DevOps / QA or Automation backgrounds are encouraged to apply. We need people who have a passion in working with enterprise level windows applications, solving problems and working with great people. As far as skills go we’d love to talk to people with areas of expertise in things like data processing, web technologies, APIs, networking and systems administration / troubleshooting. Experience with PowerShell and C# to help us develop tools for automation and troubleshooting are a big plus. No one thing or missing skill is a deal breaker, so if you have a mix of skills and you’re a fun person to work with read on! *Primary job responsibilities are but not limited to the following: * • Troubleshoot production issues in our distributed environment of thousands of servers • Help our internal customers get the most out of our applications by building robust solutions to complex software/hardware problems. • Work with the development team to help scope and design products for supportability, reporting and capacity management. • Provide level 2 support by troubleshooting application code. • Provide level 2 support by troubleshooting basic database, networking and system issues and working with teams to solve problems. • Provide afterhours support during incidents in an on-call rotation (Approx. once every 6 weeks) • Develop software tools in C#/Powershell/SQL or other languages to enable automation. • Communicate technical issues with internal and external customers. • Pull reporting metrics or application data for ad-hoc requests using code and database queries • Supplement QA as needed for large scale releases. • Document and help train others on application architecture and code base. *Skills (Hopefully you have at least 4+ of these) * • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • Experience with complex queries, stored procedures, views and functions in MS SQL Server • Experience with web technologies such as Javascript, AJAX, HTML/XML, Cookies • Experience debugging code written by other developers • Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills. • Technical experience at the hardware level – Load Balancers, Servers, San Storage or Networking • Ability to apply technical analysis of application issues to solve customer reported problems. • Experience in C#, ASP.NET MVC, CLI Languages, MS SQL, PowerShell • Experience in Windows Server 2012, SQL Server 2008/2012/2015 • Experience with DNS • Experience with MongoDB or Hadoop a plus • Knowledge of networking protocols a plus • Experience with monitoring systems (ITRS/Geneos preferred) a plus • A strong sense of humor is highly desirable *Resumes with the following information will be given preference.* *Full Name:* *Current Location:* *Relocation:* *Availability:* *Work Authorization in US:* *Contact Number:* *Email:* *Rate on C2C:* *Please ensure candidates have all skills listed under "Required Skills" in their resume.* Please reply to *-**pa...@everestcom.com <pa...@ez2tech.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP Workflow" group.
