Job Title Portal Application Development/Support Specialist General Function Provide software development/support for applications developed on Liferay platform Required Education (PHD, Masters, Bachelors) Bachelors Required Certifications Java Certifications(SCJA/SCJP/SCJD/SCWCD/SCMAD) Required Technical Skills (Application knowledge, development tools, processes or methodologies) · Knowledge and experience in Java/J2EE such as HTML/HTML5, Java Script, AJAX, XHTML, CSS, Java, J2EE,Servlet, LifeRay, Alloy UI, jQuery, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, SQL, Web services, JSP, XML, XSL, REST, design patterns, EJB, Tomcat/Glassfish/Apache Web server, CVS, Eclipse/Netbeans, · Expert development experience on Liferay platform. Must have software development experience in plugins, hooks, ext. · LifeRay portal development · Experience in JSR168/268 and WSRP remote portlet technologies · Responsible for taking over existing Liferay 5.x based code, participate with code review, make recommendations to optimize or correct deficiencies, and develop additional logic in support of future functionality and able to plan/execute liferay upgrades · Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills for all tiers of web applications · Must be able to work independently and as a team leader/member in onsite/offshore model.
