*Long Term Seeking an IS Sr. Business Systems Analyst for a long term
contract that has a strong possibility of converting to a permanent
position. *

*SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: *

This class is responsible for working within the Information Systems
application portfolio to lead business technology initiatives.

This requires a strong functional knowledge to lead the analysis of
business requirements to develop system solutions.

Should also have knowledge of Oracle ERP modules (primarily EBS, WAM, CCB,
MWM and BI) GIS and legacy applications.

Responsibilities include application production support, problem
resolution, developing code modifications, leading system upgrades, design,
testing and hands-on development in applications, interfaces, reports,
workflows and forms.

Responsibilities may also include, but are not limited to, planning,
prioritizing and coordinating installations, upgrades, configurations,
testing, performance optimization and systems analysis.

This position will provide technical solutions to business problem by
identifying needs and requirements and development of the appropriate
technical solution.

The position also provides developing estimates on software design,
development and testing activities.

The position will also assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting performance
issues and executing production changes.

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst operates under the supervision of the IS
Applications Manager.

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst operates under the supervision of the IS
Applications Manager.

Extended hours and on-call availability are required.

Driving/operating vehicles may be required in performance of work
assignment/responsibilities.

Performs other related work as required.

Prioritizes work, based upon project requirements, to ensure effective
utilization of available resources;

provides accurate and timely reports in all areas of responsibility.

Thorough knowledge of safety rules/regulations/procedures, as appropriate;

thorough knowledge of operating
characteristics/capabilities/limitations/service requirements of current
hardware, software, and equipment;

thorough knowledge of computer application architectures, data design,
applications management techniques and system processes;

familiarity with large ERP installations and complex application
integrations, preferably Oracle applications;

thorough knowledge and understanding of system development lifecycle
process;

skilled in the usage of personal computers;

demonstrates project management skills through the scheduling of work,

ability to communicate effectively, both orally
