*Location:   Santa Monica, CA*

*Position Summary:*

Senior Business Analyst with a contract, Legal or Business Affairs
background and strong analytical skills.  The role will primarily support
implementation of a new contract management system.  The candidate will
report to the LA IT Application Development team.  The Senior Business
Analyst is expected to be a liaison between the Business Affairs, Legal,
Creative and other departments and IT.  Some project management
responsibilities may be assigned as needed.  Duties will include leading
discussions regarding business processes and requirements; producing
documentation including workflows, metadata lists, reports and contract
templates; evaluating proposed vendor solutions against requirements;
testing; and reporting status, issues and risks.



*Primary Responsibilities:*

· Gather and document detailed business requirements.

· Propose workflows, metadata models and solutions for client
review.

· Drive consensus within business areas.

· Participate in analysis and evaluation of vendor solutions.

· Develop test scenarios and/or review test scenarios created by
the vendor.

· Test the contract management system configuration against client
requirements.

· Manage communication between clients and the vendor.



*Requirements:*

· 5+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst or a related rolewhere
above responsibilities were utilized.

· Experience gathering business requirements and assessing fit in a
vendor application.

· Experience with integrations and data migration.

· Bachelor’s Degreein a Business, Legal or Technical field
preferred.

· Domain knowledge and hands-onexperience with a contract
management application preferred.

· Ability to gather business requirements and set milestones to
successful completion.

· Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, problem
resolution and customer service.

· Demonstrate experience on projects of varying scale and
complexity from inception to successful launch

· Demonstrate collaborative problem-solving skills. This includes
active listening; formulating and expressing desired outcomes, identifying
underlying interests, and developing and analyzing their
consequences.

· Set and maintain multiple priorities, and communicate effectively
with people regardless of their technical skill set.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the
ability to establish goals and set clear expectations, prioritize
activities,and follow through on those activities to completion.

· Experience working with distributed teams.

· Experience with Agile software development.

· Expertise with Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Visio, and
PowerPoint required.

· Excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to interact
with all levels of technical and non-technical staff.

· Experience in creating a Business Requirements document, (work
samples requested).

· Media related industry experience would be a plus.

· Contract, legal experience a plus.

· Familiarity with cloud-based services and architecture a plus.
