Location: Miami, FL Duration: 6+ month contract 2 Skypes to hire *DevOps Engineer* Requirements: · Minimum 8 years’ experience in IT, including infrastructure roles and/or software/application development · Experience with infrastructure automation tolls (i.e. Chef OR Puppet OR Ansible, etc.) · Experience with CICD tools such as *Bamboo or Jenkins* · Experience working with Cloud solutions, such as *AWS, Oracle, OpenStack and/or Azure* · Experience with *Docker or Kubernetes* · Basic development experience, preferably with *Java and JavaScript* Responsibilities: · Role requires working with various cross-functional engineering specialists, project managers and application development teams to define and implement a cloud-based hosting solution. · Facilitate communication between various teams & steak holders in-order to increase development velocity and improve efficiency · Serves as the technology expert on building technical requirements with a focus on cloud solutions. · Responsible for helping to define the design, implementation and support of all cloud infrastructure and operational components. This includes: cloud-based hosting, traditional on premise hosting environments, development infrastructure. · Ensures technical feedback from stakeholders is brought back to ensure it is taken into consideration for future technology and solution directions. · Assist senior management in making recommendations to improve and enhance internal systems. · Assist/train team members in knowledge transition across all systems.
