*Layer7 Application DeveloperLocation: Northbrook, IL3 Month Contract –
open to extensionNeed local to IL*
*Position Summary:*
The Application Developer designs, produces the Layer 7 template, develops
and unit tests the code, supports QA and Performance testing efforts
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Adhere to architecture design, guidelines and best practices
- Scope projected work for projects and forecast the effort need
- Utilize and develop reusable components for the Enterprise
- Drive requirements analysis activities and develop the design of complex
integration components. Produce and present documentation for these
components.
- Consult with Integration Architecture on designs
- Develop recommendations for solutions including pros and cons
- Support Integration Architecture in vendor selection and product
evaluation
- Troubleshoot operational issues in both test and production environments
- Adhere to team SDLC processes and artifacts. Be a champion for the
process.
- Collaborate with DCIO's to deliver quality services and partnering during
upgrades.
- Foster and encourages solution reuse at the Enterprise level
- Contribute to team processes and standard practices related to the
design, development, and implementation of application solutions and
patterns.
- Perform application service life cycle planning including upgrades,
versioning, phase out, and retirement.
*Qualifications:*
Strong communications skills (technical and non-technical)
Must have 3+ years of end to end, hands on design, development and
implementation experience with enterprise application integration solutions
Must have 2 years of experiences with deep technical skills in Layer 7
developments (should have familiarity with concepts such as Templates,
Fragments, policy lifecycle)
Must have XML, JSON, Oracle database SQL development skills, SOAP UI
Web application development skills is also a plus
