*Description*
*The Department of Children and Families is seeking experienced ORACLE
PL/SQL Developers to:*
*o Design & Develop multiple reporting applications *
*o Troubleshoot, fix, and test issues/defects - resulting from either the
change control process or production activities*
*Skills *
*o Excellent programming aptitude*
*o Understand data models to develop new reports.*
*o Document and maintain code using change control software like PVCS and
CVS.*
*o Analyzes information needed for coding and implementing procedures and
functions.*
*o Conduct unit testing of reports to facilitate change management and
quality assurance*
*o Assist with integration testing and data quality issues.*
*o Understand Business Intelligence requirements for new and existing
reports.*
*Qualifications *
*o Extensive experience in the following is required: *
*o SQL, PL/SQL and Relational Database queries in ORACLE*
*o Advanced SQL and PL/SQL programming *
*o ETL experience and custom data set development.*
*o Developing and implementing standard procedures and functions in ORACLE*
*o Creating aggregate data using SQL*
*o Familiarity with MS Excel, ACCESS *
*o Experience with an enterprise reporting and data warehouse solution is
preferred.*
*o Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to interact
effectively with internal and external audience and peers*
*o Experience with Jasper Reports in preferred.*
*o Experience with LINUX scripts is preferred.*
*Education *
*At a minimum, a Bachelor’s degree with a major in the field of computer or
information Science*
