*Position: Java developer (Back-end + Front-end)*

*Location: Phoenix, AZ*

*Duration: 6 months Contract-to-Hire!!!*

*JOB DESCRIPTION:*

· We are looking for intermediate (with significant upside) or
senior level developers.

· They should have been working for a few years on enterprise class
apps using similar technologies.

· We’re not opposed to Microsoft folks, provided that they have
significant C# (which translates well to Java) and at least some experience
with non-Microsoft tech at some point, such as Java, ruby, or python so
they are more well-rounded and have proven they can deal with a
non-Microsoft environment.

· We’ll put them through a fairly deep dive on things like object
oriented principles, design patterns, object/relational mapping, databases,
messaging, synchronization, and Java.

· We need *front end and also back end developers* if they have a
strong preference either way, there’s plenty of room for both.

· We usually don’t have well defined requirements, so someone that
needs to have everything spelled out in detail up front would be
frustrated.

· We do code reviews and collaborate heavily with the entire
development team on design, so they should be prepared to have good ideas
and be able to defend them well.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as
well as decent soft skills.

· We do a lot of business interfacing and demos to all levels in
the organization, so they’d need to be comfortable around non-technical
people and speaking in front of groups.

· We encourage people to ask questions, so they should be
forthcoming instead of always forging ahead to try to find an answer on
their own.

· *There’s also going to be some travel, usually a few days each
quarter. *

*Our technology stack is:*

· Java 8

· J2EE with EJB and JPA (hibernate)

· Wildfly (JBoss)

· Oracle

· MQ for enterprise integration

· RabbitMQ for internal application messaging

· Drools (JBoss rules engine)

· HTML5

· Angular/Node.js

· REST web services

· Linux

*MUST HAVE:*

· Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills * Yes

· Java * and 5 Yrs.

· Web services *and 5 Yrs.
