Yes, exactly.

Confirmed.

Yes; in fact, the upgrade has not finished yet.

Sure, we'll restore access to all files ASAP.

[sr #110158] All files attached to the bug or patch tracker of GNU Octave are lost

2019-12-12 Thread Lars Kindermann
Follow-up Comment #2, sr #110158 (project administration):

Is there a chance that my patches (the ones that got reported first to be
missing):

https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/octave-bug-tracker/2019-12/msg00238.html

https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/octave-bug-tracker/2019-12/msg00237.html

may also be recovered along with the others or do I have to resubmit them in
any case?

OK, thanks for confirmation. With 'removing' you mean pressing the
trashbin button, right? I'm quite sure that this didn't happen.

Maybe something happened during this upgrade? Is it possible to
restore the links to those files in the bug report?

Thanks a lot!

Generally, they don't disappear unless users remove them.

All attachments moved to a different directory on the server
in the process of upgrading its operating system, I'm not aware
of full details.

Meanwhile, I attach the three files from that bug report.

Interesting. I wasn't aware that attached files can disappear from
bug reports.

Savannah hackers, do you know what's going on? What has happened to
the three files attached to the above bug report?

Mateusz, do you perchance still have those files somewhere so that you
could forward them to Marco?

Details:

On the config page for the lwip-devel Mailing List, I had reset my username to
something other than my name.

I assumed that meant that “username” would show in posts instead of my
name.
I just posted something to lwip-devel and see my name. Can this be fixed? I
don’t want my name shown.
Thanks.
