= Registration Details =

* Name: *Guile-RPC*
* System Name:  *guile-rpc*
* Type: non-GNU software  documentation
* License: GNU Lesser General Public License

 Description:
Guile-RPC is an implementation of ONC RPC and XDR (RFC 1831 and RFC 4506) in
Guile Scheme, and for use by GNU Guile programs. It is distributed under the
GNU LGPL v. 2.1 or later. It requires Guile 1.8 and `guile-r6rs-libs'
available from
http://www.laas.fr/~lcourtes/software/guile/guile-r6rs-libs-0.0.tar.gz .  For
the sake of convenience, the latter may need to be eventually distributed from
the Guile-RPC project download area (until it is integrated into core Guile).

Guile-RPC comes with a Texinfo manual. Although it is currently distributed
under a permissive licence similar to that used by the GNU web pages, my
intent is to relicence it under the GFDL (with no invariant sections, no
front-cover texts and no back-cover texts) to comply with GNU conventions.

Since the package implements low-level functionality that may be useful to
GNU Guile users, my intent is to release it as a GNU package. Should it be
needed, I could assign copyright for the package to the FSF.

http://www.laas.fr/~lcourtes/software/guile/guile-rpc-0.0.tar.gz

 Other Software Required:
* GNU Guile 1.8

* `guile-r6rs-libs' available from
http://www.laas.fr/~lcourtes/software/guile/guile-r6rs-libs-0.0.tar.gz .  For
the sake of convenience, the latter may need to be eventually distributed from
the Guile-RPC project download area (until it is integrated into core Guile).

Follow-up Comment #6:

Hi,

We did not get a response from you, so we deleted your project from the
pending queue.

If you would still like to have your project hosted at Savannah, please
register it again.

The re-registration URL found in our acknowledgment of your earlier
registration will direct you to the proper location where you can
re-register
your project.

Regards.

[Savannah-register-public] [task #6852] Submission of Synapse

2007-05-09 Thread Roberto -MadBob- Guido

Follow-up Comment #2, task #6852 (project administration):

I'd like to migrate all the project on Savannah, deleting the account from
BerliOS. Savannah has more resources and more usefull utilities (the tracker
is really better), is more accessible (BerliOS is often unreachable), and,
last but not least, the Savannah platform is more appealing and modern.

[Savannah-register-public] [task #6856] Submission of Wej Embeddable Web Server

2007-05-09 Thread Noah Rankins

Follow-up Comment #2, task #6856 (project administration):

1: I will be doing all of my development on Savannah. My SourceForge account
was used mainly as a way to upload the JAR file to HTTP in order for you to
review it. I will most likely be doing all of my development on Savannah.

2: I have tested my code via GCJ, and have received no errors relating to the
Java classes. I also have removed the third-party error logger, and have
placed in one of my design. As far as I know, I have remained inside the
bounds of the java.* classes (no sun.* or anything).

I am not sure whether to pursue submission as GNU project, mainly over
certain questions (do I need to relicense under the GPL, what are the
benefits, is it worth the effort) which I may have skipped over.

Thank you for your time.
