On my wife's computer (Windows 7 SP1), the arrow keys allow to navigate into a game no matter where the mouse pointer is. I still haven't installed Scid 4.6.1 on my Linux machine but the behaviour is the same with 4.6.0 beta. I am not sure about previous versions. changing SCID translations do not require re-compiles, so it's preatty
easy:
1) Open the language file with a text editor, for example
/tcl/lang/italian.tcl
2) Improve translations, for example line 14 is:
menuText I FileClose Chiudi 0 {Chiude un database Scid attivo}
and should be
menuText I FileClose Chiudi 0 {Chiude il database attivo}
3) Untranslated messages are prefixed with:
# = TODO to be translated =
so they can be easily found.
4) Save the file
5) Launch Scid and verify that the updated translation is correct.
