Excuse me if this has been published before on the mailinglist, but
as I lost some of my archive I didnt find it. Is there any fix for the
fact that /dev/ttyS* is used instead of /dev/cua* in linux 2.2.* ? I downloaded
the latest version of Xcard I could find (1.0) but that used the /dev/cua*.
were could I change this in the source, in order to get it to work.?
2)
Xcard supports most smartcards right? ( I use the towitoko chipdrive)

So many women; so little nerve.

You mean that a link (ln) among /dev/ttyS* and /dev/cua* does not
work ?

On the topic of Linux support for Entrust... I have been after
them for years to do just this. Perhaps if everyone were to send a
message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this request, we could go a long way
 to getting these toolkits ported.

Most of what people have been asking for in the way of
Certificate services for IPSec is already available in their toolkits.

I'm a novice in this list and in the smartcard field but I have a good
knowledge on pki stuffs.
There are excellent packages on the free softare domain to deal with
eg. SSLeay and Peter Gutmann's cryptlib.
Why ask (or wait) to Entrust ? (I suppose they will never disclose their
proprietary software).

P.S.
Cannot promise anything but I'm working on a possible integration.
