Re: [scots-l] Robert Petrie's First Collection abc's

2004-06-07 Thread danmozell
I'd love a copy Steve! Thanks.

I finally completed my abc transcription of the full version (i.e.,
including the cello line) of Petrie's first collection. Anyone who would
like a copy of the file, let me know.

Have you put it online somewhere? If not, I'd like a copy.
I have a number of his tunes in my collection, and it would
be nice to get his version. And see what other good tunes
are there that I need to learn.

Hi Steve,
terrific, thanks for the great work!
As I decided not to get into cello (had gotten one recently and found it
all tooo different from fiddle...) so I am quite happy with the file you
already sent me!
But definitely I´ll be interested in the second book!!!
Have you ever thought of making photostat copies of the books (in pdf)
and getting them out on CD? In England there is a guy that does that. He
sells them for very little on E-Bay (for example the Orpheus
Caledonius)
It would be a neat thing to sort of have the original then... might be
less work, too. And the acrobat reader can be downloaded for free.

have a great day,
Eva
