not surprisingly, i had five new e-mails today. one was ernesto, thinking my tracklist 
was funny... the rest were people either
accusing me of making fun of sunny day or saying "that's not the real tracklist." get 
a sense of humor, guys.

no, that is not the real tracklist to the new album. i made it all up myself. there, i 
said it.

now, here's a good question... supposedly it doesn't like joe will be touring with 
sdre this time around (which sucks, because that
guy rules). but anyway, if sdre could have anyone on bass this tour (besides nate, 
jeff, or joe), who should they pick? i guess i
should do this in a poll format, so the list isn't cluttered with one-line replies. so 
send your answers to me.

hey all,
this is probably the stupidest question someone has dared yet to type, 
but it is important,
does anyone have a copy of "Thief, Steal Me A Peach" that they don't 
want? I don't mean a 
CD-R, but the actual CD/vinyl, and in somewhat good condition.  I'd be 
willing to buy it or trade 
about anything (besides my genitals) for this . thank you.

oh, by the way... to whoever thought it would be a cool idea to "take over" the SDREAA 
since i've been having server
problems: i'd get mad, but i don't feel like running the site anymore anyway. so 
thanks :)

my friend works (or i guess i shouldn't say, works... "learns" would be better) at a 
college radio station here in town... he says
they have a pre-release copy of diary that just says "sunny day real estate - t.b.a." 
and the in circles ep there... i'm going to try to
buy those goodies from the radio station... don't know if they'd go for it, though

hey, has anyone noticed that hiftbso and lp2 have been slightly altered since sdre 
left sub pop? most people probably haven't,
because they've only bought the cd once... but if you visit your local record store 
today, you will probably see that lp2 has a
UPC on the back of the cd, and that your copy at home doesn't (the UPC came as a 
sticker on the shrinkwrap, until recently).
also, if you see a new copy of hiftbso, you will notice that there's a sub pop 
copyright notice behind the disc itself, whereas on
the old copies it was just plain black. (my girlfriend recently got these records, 
that's when i noticed the differences.) my guess
is that's stuff that sub pop wanted to do all along, but the band didn't want them to 
do... and now that they aren't on the label
anymore, there's nothing they can do about it. or something.

patiently awaiting all the "dude, is that really the tracklist? i don't know about 
that... dude" replies...

p.s. i now have a job in the electronics / music department at a fred meyer retail 
store in renton, wa (renton center). i play sdre
in-store all the time... so if you ever happen to stop by
