Re: [sdre-l]: New Label
I spoke with a Time Bomb Rep. They are owned by Arista records in conjunction with BMG. Not the indie we thought it was. They have some Vandals and other punk stuff.. The hq is in Chicago, but the guy I spoke with was from L.A.
[sdre-l]: A funny story
I was riding the public bus in Austin, and guess who was playing? Sunny Day, of course. I guess the bus driver hooked up a CD player. I only mention this because some of you on the list think Sdre is only an underground thing, to be devoured by the coolest of indie scenesters. Well the passengers on the bus, a very wide sample of people I might add, seemed to be enjoying it. They weren't covering their ears or diving off the bus. It was odd. So what's next? Will we be hearing Sdre in the local super market? Will sharks own private fuck be playing when I get a haircut?
Re: [sdre-l]: SHOULD HOW IT FEELS....
But to point out the obvious, the band wasn't exactly on good terms when they recorded LP2, adding an different element as well.. Each album was recorded and written during a different period; Diary during Jeremy's darker time.. The result is that each album is unique, or different... Depending on how you want to look at it.. I look forward to the new album, not because I would really like to hear another Diary, because I want to see how the band has grown.. Thanks for your time. post script - i think it flows just perfectly. after all, nothing stays the same :p
