[sdre-l]: Braid broke up??????
Alright I was reading the usual 15 SDRE emails and I noticed someone said Braid was defunct. Please tell me it isn't true, I love Braid. They are really good. If anyone can email me and tell me more about this I would really appreciate it. Also I caught The Get Up Kids in St. Pete Fl and I agree about the crowd. They were rude, moshing broke out a bunch, and I was next to this really sweaty fat guy that kept rubbing all over me, needless to say I showered when I got home, but regardless The Get Up Kids have an awesome live show. I loved it, even got some pictures, none came out to well, but if someone wants one of the pics then email me and I'll send you the OK ones. Damn, I think I just wrote an entire letter to the SDRE mailing list and didn't mention them once, oh well, Sunny Day kicks ass, I thought I had lost my diary album and I trashed my room trying to find it, but I found it so its all good. [sdre-l]: The whole screaming thing...
I've been sitting here and reading these emails week after week about the screaming. Yes, I got diary first and I really felt his passion when he screamed. It did alot, but now with the live album and How It Feels he isnt screaming. So what. Its not like he isnt passionate about what he is singing anymore. Its not like the only way you can express emotion is by screaming. Leave the man alone. In my opinion his voice sounds better then it ever has before. I get into the parts where he expands his abilities more then when he just screams. Well thats all I really have to say I guess. SDRE is still rocking. I'm in love with all of there albums. [sdre-l]: Anyone in the Jax area
Hey all, I just moved to the Jacksonville area, Im going to UNF. I have two guitarists and a vocalist already, but we need a bassist and drummer, even a keyboardist(moog/synth/piano) would be cool, to finish off the band. We are looking to do something along the lines of SDRE, Get Up Kids, and Texas is the Reason. Write me if your interested, experience would be a big plus but its not necessary at all. Thanks Matt
