Finally somebody with some scents...errr...sense!

I've aways noticed the smell of thos two album covers. I used to think that
hiftbso smelled that way because it was non glossy paper, but diary
definitely has the same scent.
I kinda like it though. It certainly is a nostalgic smell for me. Kind of
like how the smell of hot tar reminds me of aunt marlene...never mind...

I've made a very profound observation about the art booklets..
Diary and How it Feels to be Something on smell funny, whereas LP2 is virtually
scentless.
I mean seriously, everytime I open up Diary or How it Feels, I'm like "whoa, man what
smells?".. they have a strange odor.
Lp2 is not so.. and we all know that Chris Thompson did not do artwork for Lp2..
therefore, either this is all a coinsidence or...
Chris Thompson, wonderful artist that he is, has a bad case of B.O.

if referring to the cover art of how it squeals, then
i agree that this type of thing is garbage. the liner
art is at least on par with diary though. the pink
album has better art than the cover art for how it
feels to be celine dion hands down.

a ball of flames. how profound!

what? trite? that is an awful thing to say esp. considering the fact that
all of the how it feels art is original art from the same guy who did the
diary art. (im sure everyone knew that already.) i suppose that means that
the diary art is trite as well. it seems like a harsh word

ok peace.

I'd actually beg to disagree with our colleauge

I think that I'm the only one here who hasn't heard any of the new album,
but I saw the promo poster of this cover in my local record shoppe and DAMN
DID I WANT IT. It's so blatently taken from something old and solviet. I
love this sort of thing. I think that since the "How it feels" art was kind
of trite and easy, this is just nice to see. Sunny day is a band who's
album art (Specifically Diary of course,) has influenced my own paintings,
so this is something I cant help but write about.
