anyway, since i mentioned seven in my last show review i've gotten a few e-mails from
people that mentioned they saw them
play seven at a show... yes, they did open with seven at one of the shows on the
hiftbso tour (can't remember which) and they
did play it at bumbershoot 98 (i was there!). but it was very obvious they were doing
it just to please the fans (or in the case of
bumbershoot, make the people that didn't know them very well go "oh yeah, this is the
band that does that song" since it got a
lot of airplay on KNDD in seattle back in the day). when they played it, jeremy was
not into it at all... it looked like he
couldn't wait for it to be over. they've mentioned a few times they're tired of it,
and i certainly don't care... there are so many
other better songs of theirs. especially if they don't want to play it that much. but,
like i said, everyone was yelling for seven
every time i saw them on the hiftbso tour... and i didn't hear anyone yelling for it
last night... which i thought was nice.
