Re: [sdre-l]: tour dates / jeremy quote
Not to be a pessimist... After reading Jeremy's quote, I can't help but see the inevetable loss of the band that recorded my personal fave, Pink. Not that I don't like the newer, softer stuff, cause I really do. It feels like the first time you looked at your parents and thought "Boy, they're getting old". Still beatiful, yet not quite the stars in the sky anymore...
Re: [sdre-l]: tour dates / jeremy quote
The quote from jeremy concerning how he likes the slow emotional songs is right on concerning that the best tracks on the disc are the slower tracks. The production on this disc is beautiful and, while I was disappointed with jeremy's voice on how it feels, i feel like this engineer really captured the beauty of jeremy's voice... - Original Message - From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, May 16, 2000 9:21 PM Subject: [sdre-l]: tour dates / jeremy quote > > Check out http://www.billboard.com/daily/2000/0516_06.asp for some > additional dates and a quote from Jeremy about the album. [sdre-l]: Tour dates-Denver.
dear sdre-l My roommate and i are planning to go back to the Denver area, where he is from, to hang out for a few weeks. Im a little excited about going due to the fact that there seems to be alot more going on in Denver, musically, than Portland right now, including a possible SDRE show on the 26th of May or JUne . Has anyone heard about this? Just trying to confirm this. Also (sdre related . . ?) Anyone heard about the Gloria Record playing in Denver about that time? oh yeah, thanks for your time. sincerely, s YOU'RE PAYING TOO MUCH FOR THE INTERNET! Juno now offers FREE Internet Access! [sdre-l]: Tour Dates
I'ms ure that they may add/delete some dates from that list - but instead o posting a dozen posts that say "Why aren't they coming to *** city?" I'd advise you all to just wait and check the timebomb site - they seem to be pretty good about letting us know (right after I posted the tour dates, someone from timebomb posted them as well but I didn't send it on as it was the same list as before - but the point being they will definitly let us know if there are any additions/deletions from the list. * "The coast is clear! Re: [sdre-l]: tour dates
i've tried looking up different tour dates online and i really can't find anything that i want. first off, does anyone know if SDRE's ever going to come to the east coast anytime in the future or if any other emo bands will be near ct over the summer. if someone could email me privately, or even post it so other people from east coast can find out too, i'd really appreciate it. thanks a lot ~Bea
Re: [sdre-l]: tour dates
This is maily directed to those omniscient scenesters in the West Coast region: the Sunny Day show in Irvine (there's my testament to staying on the subject, in its entirety) is pretty mysterious, or so it seems. I am definitely going, but here's all I know thus far (this knowledge will be extended, hopefully, with the contributions of people nearer/more familiar with the area): Location: Irvine, CA Venue: Oak Canyon Ranch Date: July 4 # of Stages: 3 Line-Up: At the Drive-In (confirmed), the Get-Up Kids (con.), Rocket >From the Crypt (con.), Sleater-Kinney (con.), Jimmy Eat World (maybe), Superchunk (con.), Sunny Day (con.), and Sonic Youth (con.). That's all I know. If anyone knows anything else (i.e., where it is exactly, who's on what stage ((besides At the Drive-In; I know they're on the 3rd stage at some point)), who's playing when, who could conjure up such a sick, twisted, beautiful indie-rock wet dream of a show) please fill me in.
