yea, it's funny cause they used to be called "december's tragic drive" before
appleseed cast. they changed it cause they thought that sounded like a SDRE rip
off. the lead singer/frontman for the group actually used to be on the list. i
think his name is john.

If you are a fan of SDRE as I am, then you might be interested in
checkingout the Appleseed Cast album "End of the ring wars". It has been my
 constant
companion for the past two days. It is just brilliant with some great
instrumental work. They have a couple tracks where they intertwine a
saxophone with the guitars [please note we ain't talking Bruce Springstein
here]. They are touring the states now before heading to Europe in the fall.
Look for them and others great acts like Camber at http://www.deepelm.com

hmm I dont see much of sunny day at all really in the appleseed
cast--appleseed cast is so mellow--extremely talented as you stated but i
wouldnt buy them because of being a sunny day fan--sunny day has a way more
heavier edge to it--maybe its just me

I also need to plug another Deep Elm band..Cross My Heart. I saw them live
for the first time last night and they were great.

cross my heart is very neat, but, at times, their breakdowns seem
kinda...well, the same. they are very neat, but, alot of their songs sound
similar in a way.
